Okay, so everyoneâs obsessed with the world being a total dumpster fire right now. Wars, corruption, crime, total insanityâitâs like weâre living in a really bad reality show with no season finale in sight. But hereâs the thing: Revelation reveals all of this. Shocking, right? Turns out, when you actually read the Bible (instead of just spiraling over the news), you see that God already called all of this, and more importantly, Heâs in control of it.
So, letâs break this down and answer some burning questions with actual scripture receipts.
Why Are Nations Acting Like Total Psychos?
đ Psalm 2:1-3 â “Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, âLet us break their chains and throw off their shackles.â”
đ Revelation 16:14 â “They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.”
So, basically, the world is losing its mind because leaders and nations are out here plotting against God like theyâre in some kind of twisted rebellion club. They donât want Godâs authority, so they freak out, form alliances, start wars, and act like they can just cancel Him. But surprise! They canât. Again- Revelation reveals all of this.
Apostle John straight-up tells us that demonic forces are fueling this chaos to set the stage for the final showdown. So yeah, world leaders think theyâre in charge, but plot twist: Godâs already written the ending.
Why Is Evil, Like, EVERYWHERE Right Now?
đ 2 Timothy 3:1-5 â “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Godâhaving a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”
đ Revelation 13:16-17 â “It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.”
So, why does it feel like the world has turned into a bad episode of âBlack Mirrorâ? Oh right, because the Bible literally reveals to us that this would happen. People are obsessed with themselves, money is the ultimate idol, and morality? Gone. Weâre living in the age of narcissism, corruption, and a total lack of self-controlâwhich, fun fact, is exactly what Paul warned about in 2 Timothy.
And Revelation takes it a step further: The world is gearing up for full-on control mode. The whole “mark of the beast” thing? Itâs all about a system where if you donât bow down to the new world order, you canât participate in society. So yeah, the fact that weâre watching society literally prep for this exact scenario is kind of wild.
But What Happens to People Who Actually Stay Faithful?
đ Revelation 3:5 â “The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.”
đ Revelation 21:7 â “The one who is victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.”
So, hereâs the tea: If you stay faithful, you win. Period. The end. No matter how bad things get, God promises victory. In Revelation 3:5, He says Heâll acknowledge you before the Fatherâwhich is basically the heavenly equivalent of Jesus saying, “Yup, theyâre with Me.” And in Revelation 21:7, He makes it even clearer: Youâre not just savedâyou inherit everything. As in, eternal life, joy, peace, and a seat at the table with the King of Kings.
If You Didnât Get the Hint, Here It Is…Â
I get it, the world feels like a disaster. But Revelation is not a book of doomâitâs a book of hope. Revelation reveals every horror to come, so you’ll be ready. Yeah, things are getting crazy, but nothing is spiraling out of Godâs control. He literally mapped it all out for us so we wouldnât be surprised.
So instead of panicking about headlines, letâs do what the Bible actually tells us to do: Trust God, stay faithful, and remember that the ending has already been written. And spoiler alert: God wins.Â
Anyway, time for this Byrd to fly. Bye Bye Now.
