I Found Jesus in My 40's.
Now I Want to Help Women Know Him, Too.

My 18-year-old self would hardly recognize the woman I am today.

For years, I was captivated by the glamour of the world and far more concerned with building the life I wanted than asking whether it was the life God wanted for me. I followed what looked exciting, successful, beautiful, and fulfilling, never realizing how easily a road can take you somewhere you never intended to go.

Looking back now, I cannot believe some of the paths I paved for myself. But that is the beautiful thing about the Gospel: Jesus meets us on the road we chose and offers us another one. When I came to Christ, I discovered that grace does not simply forgive the past. It gives us a new direction.

There is nothing I can do to change the past, but by the grace of God, I can choose differently from here. So that is what I am doing now—paving a new path, one rooted in Scripture, guided by truth, and completely dependent on Christ.

Junk Journals

There’s something special about a page that feels collected rather than created — layered papers, softened edges, vintage details, and little imperfections that make it feel like it already has a story to tell. This is why I love junk journals. They carry that feeling of stumbling upon a box of treasured thoughts tucked away in your grandmother’s attic, alongside pressed flowers, old keepsakes, and newspaper clippings, all woven together into something you don’t just scribble on, but keep. It’s a place to slow down, journal your prayers, and leave a little piece of your faith behind for someone else to find one day.

DEVOTIONALS

I love devotionals because they bring together two things we desperately need: time in God’s Word and time to honestly examine our own hearts. Instead of simply reading a passage and moving on, a devotional invites you to study it, sit with it, and respond to it. It turns quiet time into a conversation between Scripture and self-examination, helping you understand the Bible more deeply while recognizing where God may be correcting, encouraging, or growing you.

And daily sermons

A few moments in God’s Word can reshape an entire day, which is why many of my mornings begin with a good sermon. I’m drawn to teaching that opens the Bible, explains what the text actually means, and helps me understand it in its proper context. I don’t want Scripture softened into a self-help speech or overshadowed by theatrics. I want sound biblical teaching from pastors who take the text seriously, understand its historical and original-language context, and point listeners back to Christ rather than themselves.

My Fave Sermons

These are the sermons, Bible studies, and scripture-based documentaries I keep coming back to, year after year; the ones that have shaped how I read Scripture and grown my faith along the way. I'm sharing my personal playlist so you can dig into the Word right alongside me.

Being of this World completely derailed my life.

I was on the wide road to destruction for more that four decades, and now I look back in awe of my mindset. Career over kids. Fun over Faith. Every decision was centered around personal happiness, instead of Godly purpose.

I've learned that my worth was never in what I accomplished, but in whose I am. And that's when I became a Christian. That's when I received salvation.

Salvation is a gift from God, made possible through Jesus Christ. We don’t earn it. We receive it. And once you truly understand who Jesus is, everything else begins to fall into its proper place.

Christ is King, and I believe the most important thing any of us can do is know Him personally. That is why I create guided devotional designed to make opening Scripture feel approachable, beautiful, and engaging. Because a relationship with God isn’t meant to be one-sided.

When you pray, you talk to God.
When you read your Bible, He talks to you.

My hope is to encourage women to open their Bibles, know what God actually says, grow in discernment, and fall more deeply in love with His Word.
